BridgeClimb Sydney
Taking sustainability to new heights
What could be more memorable than viewing an iconic landmark? Climbing it!

BridgeClimb Sydney offers a truly iconic experience, guiding visitors to the top of Australia’s most celebrated structure, the Sydney Harbour Bridge. In the same spirit of care and consideration that shapes every Climb, BridgeClimb Sydney is taking meaningful steps to support a healthier planet for now and future generations.

How environmental responsibility shapes every BridgeClimb
Much like the journey to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, BridgeClimb Sydney’s goal is to help make the planet a safe and inspiring place to laugh, learn, and explore - for today and future generations.

They are committed to continually enhancing their sustainability practices, from partnering with responsible suppliers and initiatives to taking meaningful climbs to reduce their carbon footprint – including participating in paper cup recycling with Simply Cups.
Giving paper cups a second life, one climb at a time
As a cup of coffee becomes part of your daily routine, so does recycling paper cups with Simply Cups at BridgeClimb Sydney.

BridgeClimb are always looking for practical ways to reduce their environmental impact, so they recognised paper cup recycling as a simple but effective step to help minimise their contribution to landfill in both their office and customer areas. Since partnering with Simply Cups, their collection units need to be emptied daily due to all their team members and visitors embracing paper cup recycling.

Going above and beyond for people and the planet
While paper cup recycling is a key part of BridgeClimb’s sustainability efforts, their commitment to reducing waste and environmental impact extends much further. Some of their other initiatives include:

Reusable cup incentive
Hot drinks are just $2 when using a reusable cup. As a result, paper cups have become a rare sight among BridgeClimb team members, a change they take great pride in.

Climate Active certification
This recognition is awarded to organisations that have credibly achieved carbon neutrality under the Climate Active Carbon Neutral Standard. To earn this certification, BridgeClimb measured their emissions, implemented reductions wherever possible, and offset the remainder through accredited carbon offset projects.

Giving old Climb Suits a second life
In partnership with sustainability champions Upparel, thousands of retired Climb Suits are repurposed, extending their lifecycle and reducing waste. BridgeClimb's partnership has contributed to Upparel’s total impact - 2,785,154 kg of textiles saved from landfill!

Other sustainability initiatives include participating in Clean Up Australia Day, producing climber certificates from 100% recycled and recyclable paper, and eliminating single-use plastic bags, straws, and cutlery from their café.
