Making an impact at the workplace, one cup at a time
With over 150 staff, waste management at PKF Newcastle requires constant attention. The challenge isn’t just about bins and pickups, it’s about making sure waste doesn’t go into landfill but toward better outcomes instead.

The team sought out Simply Cups, which is a practical solution that was also engaging and easy to adopt to start recycling their paper coffee and takeaway cups.

More than just cups
While the paper cup initiative stands out, it’s not the only way PKF Newcastle is embracing sustainability. The firm is aligned with several broader PKF Australia sustainability initiatives, each tailored to reflect the priorities and communities of local offices.

These efforts range from office-based waste reduction strategies to partnerships with local organisations and industry groups focused on creating long-term environmental and social impact.
